Knee Pads

Guide: What knee pads should I choose? (Read more here)

As a floorball goalkeeper, you are constantly down on the floor, which makes a reliable pair of knee pads one of the most important pieces of equipment you can have. The right protection reduces the risk of injury, increases comfort, and allows you to fully focus on the game.

Knee pads for seniors and juniors

In our range, you will find knee pads for both seniors and juniors. Smaller sizes often feature extra comfort and adjustable functions to suit younger players of different ages.

Which type of knee pads should I choose?

There are different types of knee pads depending on the balance you are looking for between comfort and protection, where the padding is a key factor in determining which knee pads suit you best.

With models from Blindsave, you can also replace the padding when it wears out instead of buying completely new knee pads. The padding is available in three levels:

  • Hard – Firmer padding that provides maximum protection. Recommended for slightly larger and heavier goalkeepers weighing over 80 kg. The padding is 1.5 cm thick.
  • Mix – A combination of soft and firm padding that offers both flexibility and protection. The padding is 2 cm thick.
  • Soft – Softer padding that suits goalkeepers with more sensitive knees or those who need extra support after injury. The padding is 3 cm thick.

In our guide for floorball goalkeepers you will find all the information you need to choose the right knee pads and other equipment as a floorball goalkeeper.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size of knee pads?

The knee pads should fit snugly but comfortably and not slide down during movement. The size is usually based on the circumference of the knee, but some models have adjustable straps or stretch panels for a more personalized fit.

How often should I replace my knee pads?

If you use your knee pads several times a week, we recommend replacing them every 6–12 months, or sooner if you notice that the protection has lost its cushioning, starts slipping, or begins to crack.
