Floorball Stick Q-SERIES Carbon Pro 2.0 RD 27 TRIDENT Black/Silver

Salming Q-SERIES Carbon Pro 2.0 RD 27 TRIDENT Black/Silver was developed in collaboration with SSL star Emil Ruud, who plays for IBF Falun and the Swedish national team. The stick is a high-performance floorball stick for players looking for low weight, a slim grip and a stiffer shaft feel. The model combines the material technology of the Carbon Pro 2.0 series with a slimmer RD profile and the TRIDENT blade for quick ball handling and precise finishing.

RD stands for Reduced Dimension and means that the shaft has a slimmer profile. With a shaft diameter of 23.6 mm, the stick provides a narrower grip and a smooth feel in the hand. The construction is well suited for players who prefer close control of the stick during dribbling, passing and quick changes of direction.

The shaft is made from 95% High Strength Carbon and 5% Vectran. The carbon fibre keeps the weight low and provides a responsive shaft, while Vectran helps reduce vibrations and creates a more controlled feel during play. The stated stick weight is 175 grams with a shaft length of 96 cm.

The 27 mm flex provides a stiffer shaft feel than the 29 flex in the same series and is suitable for players who prefer firmer resistance when loading the shaft during a shot. The matte design with a brushed metal appearance gives the stick a clean and technical look, while the RD Pro Round end cap complements the slimmer shaft profile. The shaft is equipped with X3M Performance Grip.

Salming's TRIDENT blade in Touch X material weighs approximately 66 grams. The rear-shifted balance point makes the blade feel even lighter during play, while the factory-set pre-hook provides a ready-to-play shape straight out of the box.

The blade's 8.5 mm concavity and even curve provide secure ball control and quick ball release. The optimised pre-bend in the heel helps keep the ball in the correct position throughout the shooting motion, while the Q1-inspired toe-drag tip and stepped frame construction improve the conditions for technical ball handling.

An increased lie angle maximises contact with the floor, while the stiff heel construction provides high torsional stiffness for stable and powerful finishing. The Touch X material combines stiffness with a soft, grippy surface that provides good ball control. The lightweight and durable PP compound contributes to a smooth feel even at a high pace of play.

Salming Q-SERIES Carbon Pro 2.0 RD 27 TRIDENT is a strong choice for players who want to combine a stiffer flex with low weight, vibration-damping materials and a slim shaft for quick and controlled stick handling.
