The blade is a further development of the classic Quest blade and has for many years been one of Salming’s most popular options thanks to its balanced construction and reliable playing characteristics.

The blade features a concavity of approximately 7.2 mm, creating a natural ball pocket that provides a stable grip on the ball. The slightly curved tip makes ball handling smooth and helps with dribbling and quick directional changes. Its shape allows the blade to perform equally well in passing play and powerful shots, while also offering excellent control in both forehand and backhand play.

Q1 is equipped with several technical solutions that improve stability and durability. Trident Technology contributes to optimal blade stability from shaft to blade, while the Torsion Lid System reinforces the heel and increases torsional stiffness during shots. The Toe Drag System (TDD™) also makes it easier to pull the ball close to the body and improves control in technical situations.

The blade is made from Endurance, a durable and reliable plastic material with a medium stiffness feel. The material offers low friction against the floor, good energy transfer from the shaft to the blade, and excellent durability. Endurance plastic is also relatively easy to heat and shape, allowing players to customize the blade hook according to personal preference.
