Jakob Jonsson has played floorball all his life and has his background in Väsby AIK, where it all once began. Over the years, he has played as a center and forward - positions where he really enjoys and finds an outlet for his game.

Today, Jakob plays for AIK Floorball in the Swedish Super League (SSL), after previously representing Rosersberg Arlanda in Division 1.

Among his main achievements is a JSM bronze with RA19 and being selected to play for Sweden during the JVM in Switzerland - clear evidence of his high level and development.

As a player, Jakob is an all-round forward with a strong understanding of the game. His strengths lie in understanding the game, technique and a well-developed shooting and passing game. He is also a team player who takes responsibility in the defensive work and does not hesitate to cover shots when needed.

Off the field, he is a positive and energetic person who contributes with a lot of joy in the locker room. He values team spirit highly and sees the importance of creating a good atmosphere in the group.

When it comes to equipment, Jakob plays with Unihoc, where the Unilite blade is a favorite due to its balance and versatility – perfect for both shots, technique and passes. On his feet, he varies between Adidas and Mizuno depending on feel and preference.

Outside of floorball, Jakob enjoys spending time with family, friends and his girlfriend. He trains, plays football and travels when the opportunity arises – but his biggest interest outside of floorball is golf, where he spends many hours on the court during the summer.
